So I really don't like trying to sum up vacations cuz i always forget something but I'll try. We drove to San Diego, which I don't recommend :). The second day down there we went to Tijuana. I was scared to death but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We took our picture with the cutest donkeys that looked like zebra's. I took a picture of the Policia and they were not real happy about that. When we went to lunch, Brian and Mark rode on this thing called the orbitron and looked ridiculous and Amy rode the mechanical bull. Me, being the fun-sucker that I am wouldn't get on either. The first day at sea was overcast and so windy. The second day we went to Catalina island and rode a golf cart around the island. Third day we went to Ensenada Mexico. We all went on a wine tasting tour. The place was beautiful and the whole tour was fun and interesting but wine tastes AWFUL. They hardly put any in your glass and it still took everything I had to drink it. Come to find out afterwards you don't have to drink all of it, they have a place for you to dump it out. But we didn't know till it was too late. On the way out of Ensenada we saw the Black Pearl from the Pirates movies. Its a pretty cool boat. The last day on the boat was once again overcast and windy and the ship was rocking pretty bad. But althogether the cruise was alot of fun. When we got back to San Diego we went to Sea World which was a blast even if you don't have kids with you. The trip was great and I really didn't want to come back to the real world but what can you do right :)

Brynns Bowling Alley Birthday Party
On Brynn's birthday right after school we all headed to the bowling alley to meet up. Once we got there, there was a high school p.e. class. But they pretty much minded their own business so it was fine. Once all the rugrats got there we had pizza and then began the bowling. I asked most of them if they had ever bowled before and they all said yes. But I'm not quite sure I believe them. Everyone would grab a ball at the same time and then just stand around and randomly take one turn pushing the ball down. I was so glad Jaime was there to help create some kind of orderly system for them to bowl. Even though every now and then we'd have a couple get bored of waiting and just jump in anyways. They were pretty cute. After the bowling it was time for presents and cake. Brynn got alot of cool stuff and was way excited. The cake was adorable (thanks Thomas Market) it was Littlest Pet Shop, which Brynn is obsessed with and now has hundreds. Then somehow eating cake turned into a rub the frosting on our face contest. Suprisingly enough it was just the girls that participated in that. The boys were all business when it came to eating the cake. Anyways I bet some of the parents wondered why their kid come home with a sticky face... oops :) All in all it was successful and alot of fun. Next year though, its gonna be a SMALL birthday party at home!
