First Softball Game

Brynn had her very first softball game last night. She's been so excited for practice but when it was game time she told me she was too nervous. We made it over there and she was just fine. The beginning of the game was great but about halfway through they just lost interest. Brynn, and a few others, were palying in the dirt on the bases and putting their mits on their heads. Brynn even did a little gymnastics when she was waiting for her turn to bat. She had a really good hit towards the end of the game which was super exciting. I kept trying to take her picture while she was batting but everytime she spotted me with the camera she'd stop looking at the ball and pose for me. So I doubt there will be many more pictures. :)

No Doubt!

On Memorial Day we went to the No Doubt concert and it was AWESOME! The Sounds played first and were great. Then Paramore, who was also great. And finally, No Doubt. They put on quite a show and even though I didn't know all the songs it was really good! Me Brian and Brook rode down together and then met up with Mark and Amy. All in all I'm happy I went and I think everyone had a good time!

Mother's Day and other stuff...

I feel like I shouldn't blog unless I have pictures but our life has been rather uneventful lately. So, not alot of pictures. Seems like the whole month has just been dance competitions. Brynn wasn't so sure she liked dance when it was just practice all the time. But once we started competing and getting trophies she was all about it. Funny the difference a trophy makes :)
Besides dance lifes pretty normal but still great! The other day I had messed up on dinner two nights in a row and Brynn could tell I was frustrated. So, while me and her were putting dishes away she turned around and said, "Ya know Lyndsie, its ok. You've only been cooking for a year. And I think your doing great." I mean how can you feel bad when you get a compliment like that. It pretty much made my week!
Today, is Mothers Day and as soon as Brynn woke up she came running in my room with a grocery sack telling me she had a "valentines" present for me. At school they made a picture with their handprints and a poem and she made me a card. It is officially the sweetest present anyone has ever given me. This mother's day thing isn't too bad. Now I just need to convince Brian to make me breakfast in bed.... right? :)
