Summer Run-Down So Far....

OK. So I keep saying I'll post something when I have pictures to go with it. But we don't have a camera anymore and I'm sick of waiting. So here's a quick run down of the summer so far...
June: We played alot of softball with our friends until Brian tried to be a hero and slide to second base. Broke his ankle and ripped all the ligaments and tendons holding it all together. Only my husband could manage to do that much damage in a silly softball game. He had surgery on June 9th. As of right now he's still on crutches and can barely walk on it. So we're just praying it'll keep getting better.
Brynn has been busy as can be. We signed her up for softball, swimming lessons and story hour at the library. She really liked softball once she got her trophy. Seriously, that girl will participate in anything as long as she's guaranteed a trophy in the end. Swimming lessons went well. She has no fear. She's such a little fish out there and now every afternoon she comes up with reasons why we might wanna go to the swimming pool. And finally with story hour, well, we read like we're supposed to but when it comes to the activity at the library we just can't remember. I guess I should say "I" just can't remember. But we did make it to the magician who was, well, ok. But Brynn liked it.
The rest of our summer has been pretty normal. We've gone to the movies a couple of times and we still go watch the softball team play. The 4th of July was fun because Brian's sister was in town. So we always had something to do and Brynn wanted to spend every waking minute with her cousins. We recently took a trip to Bear Lake with all the friends but didnt' stay the whole weekend because we weren't sure how Brian's leg would hold up. But next year we'll be there the entire time. It was so fun.
Anyways, that's a quick catch up of our summer. The next item on my shopping list is a stinkin' camera so i can actually have fun things to post!
